ATENTIE !!!

• Before buying, customers can test material from their own plant at our premises to determine its gold content in grams/tonne (see the SERVICES page), or send the raw material to a laboratory for analysis.

• The concentrator capacity MUST match the capacity of the sand/gravel production or processing plant. We recommend a feed of particles smaller than 4 mm and a maximum of 20–25 tonnes/h. The concentrator is installed at the end of the process flow, before the plant’s sand collector.

• One machine is operated by a single employee who, roughly every 4 hours, stops the plant and spends about 15 minutes cleaning the concentrator to avoid losses.

The Excel file lets you build scenarios for your own site: number of concentrators per plant, grams/tonne of material, 24K gold spot price on the calculation date, and working shifts (8–16 hours/day).

Allow for 1–2 months of winter downtime, so plan for ONLY 10 working months per year.

The investment is typically recovered in 2–3 months; working more than 8–10 hours a day speeds up the payback.

OVERVIEW

The FINANCIAL REPORT image shows a simulation of a normal working schedule (22 working days; 8 h/day; minimum throughput of 25 TONNES of material processed per HOUR). The figures assume a poor raw deposit with 0.25 GRAMS Au/TONNE. We cannot guarantee continuous results in areas poor in precious metals, but statistics from gravel pits show a minimum of 0.25 g/t, and we have also seen higher grades in gold-rich areas.

ATTENTION!

The machine does not produce 24K gold directly; it concentrates the processed material. The resulting concentrate is saleable thanks to its high gold content per tonne. The statistical concentration ratio is 1:250–300, which makes subsequent refining much easier and attractive to refiners who buy this type of concentrate. The more gold per tonne of concentrate, the higher the selling price. Another advantage is that the sand passing through the concentrator can still be sold: material loss is 1 tonne per 250–300 tonnes processed, so the initial production is not reduced.

Nota bene: because of subsequent refining costs and technological losses, the concentrate is bought at 35%–50% below the gold spot price on the day of purchase. In the table below, these appear under post-refining costs.
